Our lead glass sheets contain heavy metal oxide and lead oxide. Lead glass is not tempered and must be handled carefully to avoid scratching and breakage during movement, installation, and cleaning. For safety purposes, we offer shatter-resistant, laminated, lead glass. This type of glass meets the high safety standards established in the medical, industrial, scientific, and nuclear industries.
Our leaded acrylic sheets are unique, lead-infused, transparent, plastic sheets that contain 30% lead by weight. Leaded acrylic is transparent with a very light brown tint, and the physical properties of the acrylic sheets are similar to those of conventional acrylic resins.
